Some people idolize their car, sports, music, home, and materialistic items, etc. Their mind is busy thinking about their passions, their god all day; BUT, Jesus Christ is forgotten. This is modern day idolatry, and it is sin

Is God first in your life? As Christians we must learn to give glory to God. To glorify God is to be thankful and honor Him with praise, admiration, and worship in everything! The more we abide in the Scriptures and spend time walking with the Lord, the more bold we will become in our faith in Him. By doing good works as born-again Christians, we cause others to glorify God. Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
