The New Apostolic Reformation movement is based on

Bible ignorance, superstitions, mystic, ascetic practices and occult practices!

Who are the NAR Supporters

Who are the NAR Leaders & Adherents?

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,

transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed

as the ministers of righteousness;

whose end shall be according to their works."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (AKJB)

  • QUALIFICATIONS OF AN APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST

Must have seen the resurrected Christ (Acts 9:1-6) Apostle Paul saw the glorified Lord Jesus Christ

Must have accompanied the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ when Jesus Christ went in and out among them, beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from them, and must be ordained to be a witness with them of his resurrection.

An apostle must be able to do legitimate Signs and wonders from the word (2 Corinthians 12:11-12).

NOBODY TODAY MEETS THESE QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN APOSTLE, NOBODY!

The self-acclaimed apostles of today will claim to meet this criteria. True brethren within the Body of Christ who "rightly divide" Scripture as commanded in 2 Timothy 2:15, are aware how false apostles and prophets claim to be in constant communication with God, also demanding they are chosen as God's favored elite. These false NAR apostles and prophets are preaching another jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4), another gospel (Galatians 1:8-9), NOT of the only inspired and authorized King James Bible.

MARK & AVOID FALSE APOSTLES, FALSE PROPHETS, FALSE DOCTRINE, FALSE BRETHREN AND ALL OTHER HERETICS!

Mark and avoid whoever is claiming to be an apostle or a prophet today! They are sending people to hell with their extra biblical revelations and prophecies! “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." Romans 16:17 (AKJB). “A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;” Titus 3:10 (AKJB)

FALSE BIBLE TRANSLATIONS PRODUCES FALSE DOCTRINE PRODUCES FALSE SALVATION PRODUCES FALSE BRETHREN!

False NAR apostles and prophets use Scripture completely out of context (mixing prophecy with mystery), as they do NOT know how to 'rightly divide“ as instructed by Paul our Apostle in this present dispensation of grace. In fact, rightly dividing is only found in the inerrant, infallible and preserved Words of God, the King James Bible. These false NAR supporters preach and teach mainly from modern day false bible translations which are none other than corrupted bible versions warned about in 2 Corinthians 2:17. In fact, the New Apostolic Reformation has translated it's own corrupt version to suit their satanic agenda, entitled, The Passion Translation (TPT). This pathetic version is so bogus, even the publishers have removed it from the internet. False bible translations are false doctrine, inspired by Satan to deceive mankind into believing a false salvation.

"And that because of false brethren unawares brought in,

who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus,

that they might bring us into bondage:”

Galatians 2:4 (AKJB)

ARE NAR APOSTLES, PROPHETS AND SUPPORTERS SAVED?

NAR apostles, prophets and supporters preach and teach a false doctrine ie: one must repent of their sins, or turn from their sins and be water baptized to be saved. They don't believe "once saved always saved" and believe you can lose your salvation. They believe you must be born-again and endure until the end, despite being born-again is not taught in the dispensation of grace.

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

1 Corinthians 2:11-13 (AKJB)

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

1 Corinthians 2:14-16 (AKJB)

  • MARKETING THE CRUCIFIXION, BURIAL AND RESURECTION OF JESUS CHRIST!

NAR apostles and prophets "market" the Word of God for their filthy lucre.

"Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses,

teaching things which they ought not,

for filthy lucre’s sake."

Titus 1:11 (AKJB)

They justify a profitable income, using mankind to their advantage in their bogus schools of ministry, partnering, tithing, asking for donations, etc., etc. Look into their profiles and ministries, and you will discover how they are abusing their power in preaching their false gospel as written in  1 Corinthians 9:18, "What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel."

“For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly;

and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

Romans 16:18 (AKJB)

"Let no man deceive you with vain words:

for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them."

Ephesians 5:6-7 (AKJB)

False Nar Apostles and Prophets deceive the hearts of the simple for their filthy money!

Beware of Deception
Grace Ambassadors.jpg
  • Beware of Deception

       Grace Ambassadors

  • What causes deception? Romans 16:18 says “good words and fair speeches”.

  • Notice that deception does not sound bad or confusing.

  • Words that sound good can be wrong.

  • Sermons that are beautiful can be untrue.

  • Verses can be taken out of context, narratives can be fabricated, scriptures can be twisted, connections can be invented.

  • We all know this to be true, but what makes it deception is that it all sounds good and appears to “make sense”.

  • How do you guard against deception? Romans 16:17 says you must have learned some doctrine already. When you have learned a doctrine, you are able to contrast it with what sounds good to see if it agrees or disagrees. Right teaching will not be contrary to what you have learned from Paul; it will support it.

  • When you find yourself agreeing with whomever you listened to last, then you may have never truly learned for yourself. Beware, you are susceptible to every wind of deception.

The New Apostolic Reformation is a "satanic religious system",

comprised of deceived deceivers who don't follow Paul's teachings!

If you think the 4 gospels are talking to you. You are Satan's captive!

Matthew 15:24 (KJB) Jesus said, "I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

That's not you Gentile! Paul wrote 13 books to the Body of Christ. And so you wouldn't be confused. Every book starts with his name...Paul. Do like I did and come out of that satanic religious system.

NAR Leaders & Supporters are False Brethren!

False Doctrine = False Salvation = False Brethren!

NAR False Apostles, Prophets & Revivalists teach a False Salvation!

The New Apostolic Reformation supporters (Self-proclaimed Apostles, Prophets, Revivalists) teach you must repent of your sins or turn from your sins to be saved. This is a works-based salvation that not only robs God of His free gift of grace, but enables a false salvation!

  • BIBLICAL TRUTH:

The word REPENT in the greek when it is in reference to salvation is “MENTANOIA” which means A CHANGE OF MIND. Repent of "unbelief" and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Salvation and forgiveness are instantaneous and eternal through faith alone in Christ alone, to those who BELIEVE the Gospel!

  • The Gospel of Salvation:

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,

which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,

how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

True beleivers do not acknowledge self-proclaimed modern day apostles,

but the true Apostles of the Bible whom Christ appointed personally!

The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation

by Bob DeWaay (Read full article here)

In 97 AD, Clement of Rome wrote an epistle to the church at Corinth. The epistle provides solid evidence that the early church did not believe that the apostles had successors or that new apostles were needed in order to provide direction to the church. At issue was the fact that certain individuals in Corinth challenged the duly constituted elders’ authority; Clement wrote to correct them. Clement’s testimony is remarkable because he likely was the Clement mentioned in Philippians 4:3, whom Paul called a “fellow worker.” Clement mentions the apostles in this passage:

"The apostles have preached the Gospel to us from the Lord Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ [has done so] from God. Christ therefore was sent forth by God, and the apostles by Christ. Both these appointments, then, were made in an orderly way, according to the will of God. Having therefore received their orders, and being fully assured by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and established in the word of God, with full assurance of the Holy Ghost, they went forth proclaiming that the kingdom of God was at hand. And thus preaching through countries and cities, they appointed the first-fruits [of their labours], having first proved them by the Spirit, to be bishops and deacons of those who should afterwards believe."

Although the Roman Catholic Church claims that Clement himself was an apostle of Christ in succession from Peter, Clement claimed no such title and neither did he acknowledge any apostles but the true apostles—the ones Christ appointed personally. What we will see from Clement is that the apostles appointed overseers and elders (the same group), and these were the authorities in the local church. The apostle Paul had given instructions on the qualifications and roles of elders (Acts 20:28 - 31; Titus 1:5-9; 1Timothy 3:1 - 7) and provided for their continuation (2Timothy 2:2). Clement goes on to discuss this:

"Our apostles also knew, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and there would be strife on account of the office of the episcopate. For this reason, therefore, inasmuch as they had obtained a perfect fore-knowledge of this, they appointed those [ministers] already mentioned, and afterwards gave instructions, that when these should fall asleep, other approved men should succeed them in their ministry. We are of opinion, therefore, that those appointed by them, or afterwards by other eminent men, with the consent of the whole Church, and who have blamelessly served the flock of Christ in a humble, peaceable, and disinterested spirit, and have for a long time possessed the good opinion of all, cannot be justly dismissed from the ministry. For our sin will not be small, if we eject from the episcopate those who have blamelessly and holily fulfilled its duties. Blessed are those presbyters who, having finished their course before now, have obtained a fruitful and perfect departure [from this world]; for they have no fear lest any one deprive them of the place now appointed them."
Clement did not claim the apostolic authority to intervene, but rather pointed to elders who were appointed according to the standards of the Biblical apostles. It is noteworthy that he used the terms “episcopate” and “presbyters” interchangeably for the same people. Soon the church would develop “bishops” over cities (the “monepiscopate” or single bishop over a city), which was an innovation not endorsed by the Biblical apostles. However, Clement, who had been an associate of Paul, used episkopos (overseers or bishops – KJV) and presbuteros (elders) to describe the same group of people. This is precisely what Paul did in Acts 20:17, 28 when he called the elders together and described them as “overseers.”
By 97 AD, the authorities in the church were not apostles and prophets, but elders who had been appointed according to the standards lain down by the apostles. Those who claim that God always intended there to be authoritative apostles in the church who give binding revelation ignore the fact that the apostles themselves never anticipated that they would have successors and gave no instructions for the qualifications of any such successors. But they did provide qualifications for elders, and these would apply to future generations. Sadly, the fact that there are no qualifications for apostles (other than that they must have seen the risen Lord and have been appointed directly by Him – which qualifications the NAR apostles ignore or reject) has opened to the door the proliferation of apostles around the world, many of whom claim apostolic status even though they do not even have the necessary qualifications to be elders in a local church.

The New Apostolic Reformation is a movement within Pentecostal and Charismatic churches which seeks to establish a fifth branch within Christendom distinct from Catholicism, Protestantism, Oriental Orthodoxy, the Church of the East, and Eastern Orthodoxy.

It advocates for the restoration of the lost offices of church governance, namely the offices of prophet and apostle.

The New Apostolic Reformation is a title originally used by C. Peter Wagner to describe a movement within Pentecostal and charismatic churches. The title New Apostolic Reformation is descriptive of a theological movement and is not an organization and therefore does not have formal membership. Among those in the movement that inspired the title NAR, there is a wide range of variance on specific beliefs. Those within the movement hold to their denominational interpretations of the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit within each believer. Unlike some parts of Protestant Christianity, these include the direct revelation of Christ to each believer, prophecy, and the performance of miracles such as healing. This movement has also been given the descriptive title "Third Wave of the Holy Spirit".[2]

Although the movement regards the church as the true body of saved believers, as does most of evangelical Protestantism, it differs from the broader Protestant tradition in its view on the nature of church leadership, specifically the doctrine of "five-fold ministry", which is based upon a non-traditional interpretation of Ephesians 4:11, the so called-"apostles and prophets,"[3] evangelists, pastors (also referred to as the shepherds), and teachers.

Wagner listed the differences between the NAR and other Protestant denominations as follows[1] (these differences stated directly below also diverge from traditional Pentecostalism).

  • Apostolic governance – Using the Apostle Paul as an example to say that Jesus appoints apostles within his church up to this day.

  • The office of the prophet – Saying there is within the church a role and function for present-day "prophets".

  • Dominionism – Dominion theology (also known as dominionism) is based on the idea that the world has been under the influence of Satan since the fall of man and that it is Christians who have the authority as well as the duty to reclaim it for God, as an interpretation of the Lord's Prayer, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven".[1]

  • Theocracy – Though similar in intent and purpose, not to be confused with theocratic government but rather the goal to have "kingdom-minded people" in all areas of society. There are seven areas identified specifically: religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business.[1]

  • Relational structures – church governance has no formal structure but rather is by relational and voluntary alignment to apostles.[4]

C. Peter Wagner wrote that most of the churches in this movement have active ministries of spiritual warfare.[5] In an article responding to criticism of the NAR, Wagner noted that those who affiliate themselves with the movement believe the Apostles’ Creed and all the orthodoxy of Christian doctrine.

Similarities with traditional Pentecostalism:

  • Supernatural signs and wonders – Signs and wonders such as healing, demonic deliverance, and confirmed prophecies accompany the move of God.

  • Supernatural Revelations – There is available to all believers the ability to hear from God. "The one major rule governing any new revelation from God is that it cannot contradict what has already been written in the Bible. It may supplement it, however."

  • HISTORY

The origins of the new apostolic reform are associated with the Pentecostal movement of the 1900s and with the Charismatic Christianity movements of the 1960s and 1980s.[7]

In 1996, the American theologian C. Peter Wagner organized a convention with 500 evangelical leaders, the National Symposium on the Postdenominational Church, including the organization of the church and evangelization, at the Fuller Theological Seminary of Pasadena in the United States.[8] Since this convention, the term has been used more and more in churches.

  • MEMBERS

Though few, if any, organizations publicly espouse connection to the NAR, a movement known for dominion theology and a belief in the continuing ministries of apostles and prophets alongside those of evangelists, pastors, and teachers, (Ephesians 4:11-13) there are several individuals often associated with this movement including:

C. Peter Wagner of Global Harvest Ministries considered the year 2001 to be the beginning of the second apostolic age, for the movement holds that the lost offices of prophet and apostle were restored in that year.[15]

After being named as part of the NAR, and critics believing that Bethel Church was instrumental in leading some Christians to embrace tenets of NAR, Pastor Johnson of Bethel became regularly listed as an NAR leader. Johnson admitting that he does believe in the apostolic and prophetic ministries, he denied however in an official statement that his church had any official ties to the NAR."[16]

When Rick Joyner of the MorningStar Ministries was listed, he announced that "there will likewise be a horde of false apostles released" continuing: "Our team received two very specific dreams warning about false 'apostolic movements' that were built more on organization than relationship. The dreams indicated that these were trying to bring forth apostles that were really more like corporate CEOs, and the movement that they led had the potential to do great damage to the church. The enemy's intent with this false apostolic movement was to have the church develop a deep revulsion to anything that was called apostolic."

The New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, is an unbiblical religious movement that emphasizes experience over Scripture, mysticism over doctrine, and modern-day “apostles” over the plain text of the Bible. Of particular distinction in the New Apostolic Reformation are the role and power of spiritual leaders and miracle-workers, the reception of “new” revelations from God, an over-emphasis on spiritual warfare, and a pursuit of cultural and political control in society. The seeking of signs and wonders in the NAR is always accompanied by blatantly false doctrine.

Growth in the New Apostolic Reformation is driven primarily through small groups and church planting, often completely independent of a parent congregation. The movement is not centrally controlled, and many of its followers will not self-identify as part of it or even recognize the name. All the same, thousands of churches and millions of believers adhere to the teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation. Popular teachers associated with the New Apostolic Reformation include Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, Kim Clement, and Lou Engle.

The New Apostolic Reformation teaches that God’s intended form of church governance is apostles and prophets, holding leadership over evangelists, pastors, and teachers. However, this has not been the case for the vast majority of Christian history. So, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, God began to restore prophets and apostles over the last thirty to forty years. Only now, as the church is properly guided by the appropriate spiritual leaders, can it fulfill its commission. This commission is seen as more than spiritual, as it includes cultural and political control.

In the New Apostolic Reformation, apostles are seen as the highest of all spiritual leaders, being specially empowered by God. True maturity and unity, per the New Apostolic Reformation, is only found in those who submit to the leadership of their apostles. According to this teaching, as the church unifies behind the apostles, these leaders will develop greater and greater supernatural powers. Eventually, this will include the ability to perform mass healings and suspend the laws of physics. These signs are meant to encourage a massive wave of converts to Christianity. These apostles are also destined to be recipients of a great wealth transfer (in the end times), which will enable the church to establish God’s kingdom on earth.

Prophets in the New Apostolic Reformation are almost as important as apostles. These people have been empowered to receive “new” revelations from God that will aid the church in establishing dominion. According to the New Apostolic Reformation, only prophets, and occasionally apostles, can obtain new revelations. Evangelists, pastors, and teachers cannot. The prophets’ new revelations are crucial to overcoming the world, and the success of the church depends on the apostles following through on the information prophets provide. Most of their prophecies are extremely vague and easy to re-interpret, and the New Apostolic Reformation is willing to modify them, since they set no standard of infallibility for themselves.

According to New Apostolic thinking, mankind lost its dominion over earth as part of the fall of Adam. So Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only resolved our sin debt, but it empowered mankind—specifically, Christians—to retake control of the earth. The New Apostolic Reformation sees seven areas in which believers are supposedly empowered and expected to dominate: government, arts, finances, education, religion, family, and media. Of these, the New Apostolic Reformation sees government as the most important because of its ability to influence all of the other facets of life. As a result, the New Apostolic Reformation overtly encourages Christian control over politics, culture, and business. In some ways, this is nothing unusual, as people should be expected to vote and lobby according to their convictions. The New Apostolic Reformation, however, is often accused of pushing for outright theocracy.

Spiritual warfare, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, is meant to resolve worldly concerns. For example, economic troubles or health problems in a particular city are seen as the result of a demonic spirit’s influence. Prayer, research into the specific name of that demon, and other spiritual disciplines are then applied in an effort to combat this presence. This is necessary not only for the health of the region, but also because the church cannot take “dominion” over that area until the demonic control has been lifted.

Biblically, there are major problems with the New Apostolic Reformation. Claiming that Christians have access to certain spiritual gifts is one thing, but their distinctive approach to the role of apostles and prophets is a stretch from what is found in the Bible. More to the point, the office of apostle requires traits that are impossible today. For example, true apostles must be personal eyewitnesses of the risen Christ (1 Corinthians 9:115:7–8), specifically designated as apostles by Jesus (Galatians 1:1Acts 1:2Luke 6:13), and already verified by miraculous signs (Matthew 10:12 Corinthians 12:2Acts 5:12).

The idea of new revelations from God, especially those that come in the form of vague, easily reinterpreted mysteries, runs counter to the idea of a faith delivered “once for all” to mankind (Jude 1:3). The fact that New Apostolic Reformation prophecies frequently turn out to be false suggests a false spirit behind those predictions (Deuteronomy 18:22). The tendency of the New Apostolic Reformation to treat spiritual warfare as a type of Christianized voodoo is not only unbiblical, but dangerous.

Likewise, the emphasis on an earthly kingdom contradicts Jesus’ own declaration that the Kingdom of God was spiritual, not political (John 18:36). It places an unhealthy emphasis on political and worldly approval, rather than Christlike influence.

Though it uses the word new, the New Apostolic Reformation is actually a reworking of a very common, very old approach. Since the beginning of Christianity, various groups have claimed to have a “new revelation” from God to correct all of the errors of the present world. These movements contend that “real” spirituality or maturity or truth is found only by those who listen to their leadership. Some of these sects, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism, endure and become religions in their own right. Others fade away.

Much of what the New Apostolic Reformation teaches has at least some basis in Scripture, albeit carried much further than the Bible intends. That, however, still makes those doctrines unbiblical, and Christians should flatly reject the New Apostolic Reformation’s teachings and those who choose to be associated with it.

  • Do the offices of Apostles and Prophets still exist?

The title "apostle" means one sent with a message, and it is a special office in the history of the church. Apostles were men who were appointed by Christ through a personal appearing (e.g. Paul on the road to Damascus) to hold the office. Only those who have personally witnessed the risen Christ in the flesh and received a commission directly from Him may assume this title. There were more than twelve apostles appointed in the early church, and these men lived until the end of the first century, which is why Paul still refers to this office as active in Ephesians 4:11. When the last apostle, John, died at the end of the first century, the office of apostle ceased to exist in the church.

Christ established this office to author the New Testament canon through these men, and they were given unique miraculous powers to validate their ministry and authenticate their teaching. For example, the apostle Paul told the church in Corinth they could trust his word over that of false teachers because his powers validated his ministry:
1Cor. 4:18
1Cor. 4:19
1Cor. 4:20
2Cor. 13:10

Paul told Corinth that those who claimed to have authority by their words must demonstrate they also possess the power that came with apostolic authority otherwise they were not legitimate authority figures in the church.  Such a test no longer exists in the church because the apostolic office no longer exists. In place of apostles we have the full counsel of God's word.

Unfortunately, men (and even women) uninformed by the word of God or deceived by false teaching may attempt to appropriate this title for themselves, just as false apostles existed in the early church. In all cases, false apostles are shown to be counterfeits because they cannot perform the miracles required to validate their title. All apostles were given unique gifts of the spirit to validate their positions of authority. Christ told the apostles they could cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead and receive fatal snake bites but not die. Though the Lord may permit an individual Christian to do one or more of these miracles in rare cases, they are not normal Christian gifts; they were unique to apostles.

You can learn more about why the Lord established the office of apostle in the early church (and why it no longer exists) in our Acts of the Apostles Bible study.

The office of prophet is also misunderstood. The Bible uses the term prophet to describe a man gifted to deliver God's revelation to men. A prophet's words were recorded and eventually made a part of the canon of scripture. The office of prophet carries significant responsibilities and burdens, according to scripture. Specifically, the Bible says this concerning the office of prophet:
Deut. 13:1-5

The Bible taught Israel that anyone claiming the office of prophet was required to be 100% correct in ALL prophecies. If a supposed prophet was ever incorrect in their prophetic utterances - even just once - then they were to be put to death, according to the word. Many churches fail to understand this rigorous standard for prophecy required by scripture, and therefore we are tempted to assign this title too easily to those who wish to claim it. In reality, the biblical office of prophet no longer exists in the church, since the canon of scripture has been completed.

Nevertheless, the Lord may bring supernatural insight concerning future events to anyone at anytime, but such a moment doesn't mean the person has become a prophet in the biblical sense. It simply means God has chosen to reveal something to them at a point in time for a certain purpose. This type of prophecy shouldn't be mistaken for the office of prophet.

Many men and women go around in the church proclaiming themselves to be prophets, but if we apply the test God gives us in Deuteronomy, we quickly find these people to be frauds deceiving believers.  Remember this exchange in Jeremiah:
Jer. 14:13-15

In the church today, we find no evidence of apostles nor prophets operating as the Bible requires. Instead, we may find an occasional person given insight of future events on an occasional basis, but mostly we find frauds claiming to have powers they cannot validate in the way the Bible requires.

  • Is the New Apostolic Reformation a Cult?

The New Apostolic Reformation is a movement associated with Bill Johnson and his church, Bethel, which portrays the work of the Holy Spirit in unbiblical ways and promotes a false view of a believer's place in serving Jesus, including dangerous teachings emphasizing seeking signs and wonders, and displays of mystical powers. This movement has captured many Christians because it appeals to our flesh's desire for excitement and control, but it runs counter to biblical truth.

C. Peter Wagner offered a careful examination of this movement compared to orthodox Christianity to reveal its errors, including (from Wikipedia[1]):

  • Apostolic governance – The Apostle Paul's assertion that Jesus appoints apostles within his church continues to this day.

  • The office of the prophet – There is within the church a role and function for present-day prophets.

  • Dominionism – "When Jesus came, He brought the kingdom of God and He expects His kingdom-minded people to take whatever action is needed to push back the long-standing kingdom of Satan and bring the peace and prosperity of His kingdom here on earth."

  • Theocracy – Not to be confused with a theocratic government but rather the goal to have "kingdom-minded people" in all areas of society. There are seven areas identified specifically: religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business.

  • Extra-biblical revelation – There is available to all believers the ability to hear from God. "The one major rule governing any new revelation from God is that it cannot contradict what has already been written in the Bible. It may supplement it, however."

  • Supernatural signs and wonders – Signs and wonders such as healing, demonic deliverance, and confirmed prophecies accompany the move of God.

  • Relational structures – church governance has no formal structure but rather is by relational and voluntary alignment to apostles.

Please read more about this movement in these articles: Is speaking or praying in tongues biblical? or Do the offices of Apostles and Prophets still exist?

We recommend Christians steer clear of such things and remain grounded in the word of God. We also recommend you listen to our 1 Corinthians Bible study, especially chapters 12-14 addressing this question.

What-is-NAR-feature-image-1024x657.jpg

  • Some of you who are called by a 5 fold title and you are inquring about others with your so- called Apostles and prophets to find out whether they are real are not. You are a deceiver because the title you carry was conferred upon you by an agent of the dark world who parade himself to be a servant of GOD (Apostles/ Prophets). To make matter worse, those around you are spiritually blind and they cannot see that you are operating under the influence of demonic impartation. You need to take the speck from your eyes. REPENT!!

  • I have a close friend who was seduced by NAR teachings, they look down on Christians who do not have the same "spiritual experiences" as they, but I look at her life and see so much self indulgence and compromise whilst claiming to be filled with the spirit of God, or so they say....I tried to warn her about it but she resisted. Now she's into something worse, following the false teachings of Francois Dutoit, who wrote the perverted Mirror "Bible" (New Age + Christianity). My friend's involvement with NAR has opened her up to a greater spiritual delusion and I am greatly dismayed but continue in my prayers for her to be restored back to Christ and the simple truth of God's Word. May this serve as a warning to all to keep watch over their life and doctrine.

  • NAR is indeed very dangerous and unbiblical.

  • I recall Dr. R. C. Sproul teaching that there was no new revelation. We've been given everything we need to know in His Word.

  • The mysticism emphasized in NAR makes it more like a New age occultic movement

  • We don’t need anything new we have our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we have the Word of God!! These people are lost!!

  • This teaching sounds like a Dominion Theology, and a replacement theology.

  • Such heresy! They don't seem to read the Bible.

  • This is why you need a individual voice with the holy spirit so we don't let man validate us including the man speaking. But God. Discernment is key!

  • All about the fame, fortune, and false glory that's temporal.

  • These same NAR “apostles” that supposedly have “special knowledge from God”, “commissioned” and promoted Todd Bentley as an “anointed messenger and healer” from God.

  • Many Churches and Christians are into the NAR teachings but do not realize it.

  • I left a church who was teaching some of this, though some of it was not shared publicly. Before I left I talked with leadership and they denied any NAR connection. Perhaps they aren't "under" an apostle but there were definite unbiblical teachings and, I discovered, some private/ secretive things happening. I don't see them listed on the NAR Connections website, but several invited speakers are listed. I've learned my lesson that I don't just take what the pastor teaches as truth. I must be sure that it aligns with Scripture.

  • Honestly, if a prophet doesn't have to be accurate, what's the point?

  • Found the pastor of the church I grew up in on the list. My family is know by some of the staff at Glory of Zion church. I have come out of this "cult" and struggle to help family see the false teachings because this is all they know.

  • I found at least two people from the denomination I was a part of in the NAR Connections website. One of them had this "revelation" of a Third Day, rebranded the church he was the pastor of, and left a few months afterward. The other one charges money to allegedly cast out demons over any little thing, which one of his declarations of revival failed.

  • I did not know what the NAR was but now that I hear what your talking about, all this was around before. I'm an old guy and I remember Kenneth Hagin, and Coplen and Hinn all taught this. I was in the Charismatic thing for 25 years before I got out. Yea, this is all old stuff re wrapped in a new package. If you don't read the bible yourself, you can fall into this.

  • I went to Maldonados church once when I visited FL . I was just starting out but I was studying the Biblia for myself . They had a lady from these generals prophets . I tell you , I thought it was all false . They prophesied Over me but I knew the Holy Spirit wasn’t in it . That day something happened to the sound and they used as God being there or something . I got a free book from Maldonado never read it.

THE NEW APOSTOLIC CHURCH!

FALSE DOCTRINE!.png

The New Apostolic Church (NAC) is a religious group that perverts Christian doctrine, teaches the existence of modern-day apostles and prophets, and promotes a works-based salvation.

Like Mormonism, the New Apostolic Church was founded in the 19th century with the claim that all other Christian denominations were in error. Also like the Mormons, the New Apostolic Church claims to base its doctrines on Scripture, but twists it to suit their own heresies. They actually have some very good teaching on church history, the trinity, and other mainstream Christian doctrines—mixing truth and error is a Satanic tactic that makes error harder to spot (see Matthew 4:5–6).

The New Apostolic Church imbues their “apostles” with cult-like authority, teaching that no one has access to God’s forgiveness, sacraments, or salvation except through them. The New Apostolic Church began as an offshoot of the Catholic Apostolic Church, founded in England in the 1830s as the result of a prophecy that “restored” apostolic succession, making their founders the first apostles called by God since the death of the apostle John. This is an astonishing claim considering they also believe that the grace of God does not operate apart from God’s apostles. According to the Eighth Article of Faith in the New Apostolic Church catechism, “those baptised with water must, through an Apostle, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit to attain the childhood in God.” So, apparently, God neglected to bring anyone into His kingdom for eighteen centuries until the New Apostolic Church came along. The New Apostolic Church claims some ten million members in 60,000 locations worldwide, mostly in Europe, with perhaps 250 congregations in the U.S.

Other errors of the New Apostolic Church include these teachings: 1) water baptism is necessary for the forgiveness of sins; 2) baptism is only the first of several steps toward becoming a “child of God”; 3) legitimate Christian baptism can only be administered by an apostle (i.e., a New Apostolic Church apostle, since they do not recognize apostles of other denominations); 4) the gift of the Holy Spirit is received only through a New Apostolic Church apostle, and only after water baptism; 5) it is through New Apostolic Church apostles that God forgives sins; and 6) prayers and sacramental rites for the dead are effectual for the salvation of the dead.

These teachings make the New Apostolic Church a works-based cult. They require works that clearly involve a lifetime of obedience to the teachings and leadership of the New Apostolic Church to reach the highest spiritual levels. Here also from The Eighth Article of Faith:

“‘Childhood in God’ is that condition of a human being before God which is characterised by receiving all the sacraments and aligning one’s life by the return of Christ, in accordance with the proper proclamation of the gospel. The future effect of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is to attain the status of firstling. However, the sealed believer has not yet acquired the status of firstling, but through the baptism of the Spirit, he has received the prerequisite for attaining it. If the believer strives for the day of Christ, he can belong to the bridal congregation, or the 'community of the saints'. Sealed believers have been assigned the task of following Christ continually and allowing themselves to be prepared for the return of Jesus Christ through word and sacrament.”

As with many Christian-based heretical groups, the New Apostolic Church requires a multi-step hierarchy of deeds, all of which must be done properly under the continual guidance and authority of the cult, in the vague hope of eventually, maybe, reaching the highest level—in this case, the “community of saints.” Also we notice their use of obscure terms such as firstling not found in Scripture.

Contrast the requirement of sacraments with the clear gospel promises: “To all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). “Those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified” (Romans 8:29–30). “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1).

One of the false doctrines of the New Apostolic Church is baptismal regeneration. Regarding baptism, the New Apostolic Church teaches, “Holy Baptism with water is the first step to a renewal of a human being in the Holy Spirit, and that the person baptised is adopted into the fellowship of those who believe in Jesus Christ and profess Him as their Lord.” Also, “Original sin is washed away through Holy Baptism with water and that the baptised is now incorporated into the church of Christ. He thereby becomes a Christian” (New Apostolic Church Catechism, Sixth Article of Faith).

In contrast, water baptism in the Bible always comes after saving faith in Christ. Baptism for believers is a public, symbolic expression of their acceptance by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23–25). For example, the evangelist Philip explained the gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch, who believed and was then baptized (Acts 8:34–38). The apostle Peter was called by God to go to the house of a Gentile and preach the gospel to that household. While Peter was preaching, they believed and received the Holy Spirit. So Peter said, “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have” (Acts 10:44–47). The order in Scripture could not be clearer: become a Christian by faith first, be baptized second.

Members of the New Apostolic Church need to be freed from a false gospel taught by false prophets. Freedom is found in the simple message of saving grace contained in the true gospel of Jesus Christ ( Acts 4:121 Corinthians 2:2Galatians 1:6–9).

  • Mission of ICAL

The mission of ICAL is to provide our members ACCESS to other Apostolic Leaders worldwide, EXPOSURE to Kingdom ideas, strategies and procedures successfully implemented by other Apostolic Leaders around the world, and DIALOGUE with other members in a global conversation.

  • Structure of ICAL

ICAL is a coalition of coalitions. The International Coalition is comprised of National, Regional and City Coalitions globally. Apostolic Leaders who belong to any recognized ICAL coalition anywhere in the world also hold membership in the International Coalition.

ICAL recognizes and respects the autonomy of our members and this or ability to execute Kingdom strategies on a local,  regional and national level. Our role and the role of our coalitions is to empower such leaders with Access and Exposure to other leaders, helpful resources, and fresh ideas while providing a venue for Dialogue among other successful leaders

ICAL is overseen by an International Convenor with an Executive Committee and an Advisory Council.  Each Coalition is overseen by their own Convenor with an Advisory Council. When possible, ICAL appoints ambassadors to represent ICAL in the nations, regions, and cities where coalitions exist.

ICAL’S International Office and Administration Team are located in Dallas, Texas.

ICAL hosts an Annual MasterBuilders Global Gathering, as well as various Regional Roundtables and International Summits to facilitate connections with like-minded apostolic leaders. These settings promote a structure of meaningful gatherings for peer-level apostolic leaders, representing both the church and the marketplace. In these venues, apostolic leaders meet one another, build relationships, and exchange wisdom, knowledge, skills, and resources.

ICAL uses available technology: Internet, blogs, online videos, etc., to facilitate written communication and live interaction among apostolic leaders, apostolic networks, and apostolic ministries

  • Why Should I Join?

Here are four reasons why as an apostolic leader you may consider joining ICAL:

(1) To grow your perspective and influence.  This happens with Exposure to new ideas, Access to new people and Dialogue to create new perspectives, paradigms, and procedures.

 (2) We are in a war. This war is primarily with Satanic powers fought on the battlefield of culture on all Seven Mountains with the ultimate target being the church.

 (3) Apostolic Leaders are necessary.  Throughout history, in times of crisis, God has raised up apostolic leaders to move the church forward, no matter their title. This is such a time.

 (4) We need each other.  It takes many teams, families, and tribes to create the Army of God in a geographical area.

MINISTERS OF SATAN

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;

whose end shall be according to their works."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (AKJB)

The Apostle Paul gives many warnings of "False Prophets" in this present dispensation of Grace,
Romans thru Philemon

“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you,

not sparing the flock.”
Acts 20:29 (AKJB)

“For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly;
and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
Romans 16:18 (AKJB)

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

1 Corinthians 14:33 (AKJB)

"Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Awake to righteousness, and sin not;

for some have not the knowledge of God:

I speak this to your shame."

1 Corinthians 15:33-34 (AKJB)

“But though we, or an angel from heaven,

preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again,

If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received,

let him be accursed.”

Galatians 1:8-9 (AKJB)

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;

whose end shall be according to their works."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (AKJB)

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ

unto another gospel:  which is not another;

but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you

than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you

than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?

for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."

Galatians 1:6-10 (AKJB)

"Let no man deceive you with vain words:

for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:

walk as children of light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light:

for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead,

and Christ shall give thee light.

Ephesians 5:6-14 (AKJB)

"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,

even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words,

whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds,

and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:

from such withdraw thyself."

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (AKJB)

"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings,

and oppositions of science falsely so called:

which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

Grace be with thee. Amen."
1 Timothy 6:20-21 (AKJB)

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,

deceiving, and being deceived”

2 Timothy 3:13 (AKJB)

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;

reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (AKJB)

Similarities

SIMILARITIES OF NAR LEADERS & SUPPORTERS!

th-998969333.jpg
th-3658993338.jpg
  • Common Beliefs & Traits of NAR Supporters

Here are 6 traits, beliefs, and some of the common lingo used by adherents:

1. “APOSTLES”

We’re in a “Second Apostolic Age.” There are new Apostles are on the earth today, anointed by the laying of hands to represent and speak for God here on Earth. These “Super Apostles” are equal to the original Apostles – the ones who witnessed Jesus’ life, death and resurrection and were appointed by Christ Himself to the office. Since these new apostles are commissioned by God, their authority may not be questioned.

2. “KINGDOM”

Rather than preach the Gospel of the cross, Apostolic leaders are working to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth.  They do this by taking dominion of earthly kingdoms or “mountains” of government, media, entertainment, education, business, family, and religion. Leaders often talk of city building and organize prayer walks to pray against demonic strongholds. They often speak of being mission-focused rather than being Christ-centered.

3.  “DESTINY” “PRESENCE” “GLORY”

Though members are not always charismatic, they frequently emphasize a manifestation of “Glory” and “God’s presence,” and often have a special anointing to receive direct revelation from God, and other signs and wonders. They teach that our purpose is to achieve our dream destiny so that we can change the world.

4.  “REVIVAL”

Revival on a massive scale is key in this movement. There is a strong emphasis on an “end times harvest” through a great awakening that we can usher in.  Often these revivals are held in stadiums and reach millions around the world via live stream technology; they are marketed and produced like rock concerts. All scripture verses about an end times falling away are ignored, and get replaced with hyped-up claims about the Next Big Thing that’s always just around the corner.

5. “UNITY”

Unity (at the expense of biblical doctrine) is almost always used as both the how and the why in this movement.  Unity for the sake of bringing Heaven to Earth is leading to the blurring of doctrinal and denominational lines, often bringing together well-known leaders of charismatic, reformed, Word of Faith, seeker-emergent, progressive and Roman Catholics churches, all under one umbrella.

Finally, NAR churches almost always abandon a major tenets of Christian faith:

6. NAR DENIES THE SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE.

NAR adherents may believe in the inerrancy and authority of the Bible, but God’s breathed-out Word is just not enough for them. Jesus’ sacrificial death for our sins is not good enough; the promise of eternal life in Heaven is not good enough.

NAR Leadership Exhibit Narcissistic Personality Traits & Disorders!

mayo.jpg
  • Narcissistic personality disorder Overview (Mayo Clinic)

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial matters. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they're not given the special favors or admiration that they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships troubled and unfulfilling, and other people may not enjoy being around them.

Narcissistic personality disorder affects more males than females, and it often begins in the teens or early adulthood. Some children may show traits of narcissism, but this is often typical for their age and doesn't mean they'll go on to develop narcissistic personality disorder.

Symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and how severe they are can vary. People with the disorder can:

  • Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.

  • Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.

  • Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.

  • Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.

  • Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.

  • Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.

  • Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.

  • Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.

  • Take advantage of others to get what they want.

  • Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.

  • Be envious of others and believe others envy them.

  • Behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot and come across as conceited.

  • Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office.

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they view as criticism. They can:

  • Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special recognition or treatment.

  • Have major problems interacting with others and easily feel slighted.

  • React with rage or contempt and try to belittle other people to make themselves appear superior.

  • Have difficulty managing their emotions and behavior.

  • Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change.

  • Withdraw from or avoid situations in which they might fail.

  • Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection.

  • Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, humiliation and fear of being exposed as a failure.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven,

preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you,

let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again,

If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received,

let him be accursed."

Galatians 1:8-9 (AKJB)

Narcissistic Personality Disorder: DSM-5 Criteria

dsm.jpg
  • What Is Narcissistic Personality Disorder DSM 5 Criteria?

A narcissistic personality disorder is one of several personality disorders that people can be diagnosed with, and it involves some features such as arrogance, lack of empathy, and self-centeredness. This article will cover the DSM-5 criteria that are used to diagnose people with narcissistic personality disorder and what can be done to help people with the condition.

You may have heard of the word narcissistic more than once in your life, and perhaps it was used to describe an individual that seemed that they frequently wanted to be the center of attention or were boastful at times.

Narcissistic personality disorder can involve these types of traits; however, they tend to be much more severe and, importantly, negatively affect their ability to function properly.

An individual with this personality disorder will typically have an extremely high or exaggerated sense of self-importance, a strong desire to be admired virtually at all times, and struggle to have empathy for others.

However, behind the grandiose feelings, sense of superiority, and excessive confidence is a fragile ego that can be easily damaged by criticism. Individuals can also become very envious if others receive praise and validation.

As a rebuttal, it’s common for people with a narcissistic personality disorder to try to belittle and put down others to inflate their own self-esteem. These individuals also tend to put their thoughts, feelings, and needs above all other people and completely disregard what others might say or feel.

Because of these issues, people who have narcissistic personality disorder will struggle in many life areas, especially interpersonal relationships.

  • The Narcissistic Personality Disorder DSM-5 Criteria

Below, you will find the criteria found in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual 5th edition that issued to diagnose narcissistic personality disorder: [1]

The essential features of a personality disorder are impairments in personality (self and interpersonal) functioning and pathological personality traits.

To diagnose a narcissistic personality disorder, the following criteria must be met:

A. Significant impairments in personality functioning manifest by:

  1. Impairments in self-functioning (a or b):

a. Identity: Excessive reference to others for self-definition and self-esteem regulation; exaggerated self-appraisal may be inflated or deflated, or vacillate between extremes; emotional regulation mirrors fluctuations in self-esteem.

b. Self-direction: Goal-setting is based on gaining approval from others; personal standards are unreasonably high to see oneself as exceptional or too low based on a sense of entitlement, often unaware of their own motivations.

  1. Impairments in interpersonal functioning (a or b):

a. Empathy: Impaired ability to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others; excessively attuned to reactions of others, but only if perceived as relevant to self; over- or underestimate of own effect on others.

b. Intimacy: Relationships largely superficial and exist to serve self-esteem regulation; mutuality constrained by little genuine interest in others‟ experiences and predominance of a need for personal gain

B. Pathological personality traits in the following domain:

  1. Antagonism, characterized by:

a. Grandiosity: Feelings of entitlement, either overt or covert self-centeredness; firmly holding to the belief that one is better than others, condescending toward others.

b. Attention seeking: Excessive attempts to attract and be the focus of the attention of others; admiration seeking.

C. The impairments in personality functioning and the individual’s personality trait expression are relatively stable across time and consistent across situations.

D. The impairments in personality functioning and the individual’s personality trait expression are not better understood as normative for the individual’s developmental stage or socio-cultural environment.

E. The impairments in personality functioning and the individual’s personality trait expression are not solely due to the direct physiological effects (e.g., a drug of abuse, medication) or a general medical condition (e.g., severe head trauma).

  • WHAT ARE THE 9 NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER DSM 5 CRITERIA OR TRAITS?

In addition to the criteria mentioned above, the DSM-5 narcissism guidelines also point out nine different features of narcissistic personality disorder that professionals should look for when diagnosing the condition: [2]

  1. Inflated self-esteem or a grandiose sense of self-importance or superiority

  2. Craving admiration

  3. Exploitative relationships (i.e., manipulation)

  4. Little to no empathy

  5. Identity is easily disturbed (i.e., can’t handle criticism)

  6. Lack of attachment and intimacy

  7. Feelings of depression or emptiness when not validated

  8. A sense of entitlement

  9. Can feel like others are envious of them, or may envy others

An individual must have at least five out of nine of these traits, many of which can start appearing at a young age. In the next section, you will learn more about some of the possible causes of narcissistic personality disorder.

What Causes Narcissistic Personality Disorder?

Like most mental health conditions, the exact causes are unknown, and personality disorders are especially complex, and their development can be influenced by various factors.

Environmental ones, especially a person’s upbringing, can play a role in narcissistic personality disorder; for example, being excessively praised or overvalued by parents, peers, or teachers can lead to an inflated sense of self-importance and arrogance seen in the disorder.

On the other hand, abuse, neglect, and criticism can also be a contributor too, and this may lead to the attention-seeking behaviors that are characteristic of narcissistic personality disorder.

Like manipulation and a lack of empathy for others, certain behaviors can also be learned from those around them early on in life. Unfortunately, it can reinforce the personality disorder because it can result in the individual getting what they want.

Examples of Biblical Ignorance!

Examples of Biblical Ignorance!

Dr. Paul Enenche.jpg

  • WHO IS YOUR SPIRITUAL FATHER?

      Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche

The mantle behind you determines the battles you can confront.

"And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15.

It has been established that mentoring is a force for destiny fulfilment. It is important to know that who you look at affects what you look like (2 Corinthians 3:18). The person who is your mentor, pastor, or whoever is ahead of you mentoring you is someone you are looking at; and who you look at affects what you will eventually look like.

On the matter of spiritual fatherhood and mentoring, you do not choose your father. For instance, did you determine who gave birth to you in the physical? As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. The way you do not choose your earthly father is the same way you do not choose your spiritual father also. Your spiritual father is chosen for you by God (Jeremiah 3:15).

Now, who is your spiritual father? Your spiritual father is the one who carries your spiritual DNA. He is the one who is in custody of your spiritual fire. He is the one in whose voice you hear God’s Voice. He is the one who causes the potential in you to jump. It is not a matter of that person or this person is famous or popular.

The question is, who carries your spiritual DNA? Who carries your fire? In whose voice do you hear God’s Voice? Whose face does God use to speak to you? Who makes your potential to jump in you? When Elizabeth heard the voice of Mary’s salutation, the baby in her womb (Elizabeth’s womb) leaped for joy (Luke 1:41). Your mentor is the one who makes your baby to leap.

Note:

1. Do not allow people to talk you out of the spiritual cover God has placed over your life.

2. Let your actions, words and prayer communicate value for your spiritual father.

3. Be committed in service to God; it is the mantle you serve that answers for you.

Receive the help not to miss your destiny directions in Jesus’ Name.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

and they shall turn away their ears from the truth,

and shall be turned unto fables."

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (AKJB)

Miracles

ARE MIRACLES REAL?

The New Apostolic Reformation movement is based on

Bible ignorance, superstitions, mystic, ascetic practices and occult practices!

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;

whose end shall be according to their works."

I actually had a healing encounter with popular Christian evangelist Todd White... but he failed miserably. Todd White is well known for his healing ministry; but is it real, and is it biblical? Does God or Jesus still heal today? Here’s my story which exposes Todd White, as well as some passages from the Bible that talk about healing more in-depth.

THE WORD OF GOD & COGNITIVE DISSONANCE

THE WORD OF GOD & COGNITIVE DISSONANCE

By Joseph Makwatse

  • WHAT IS COGNITIVE DISSONANCE?

According to Frantz Fanon this is how he described cognitive dissonance:

"Sometimes when people hold a core belief that is very strong.

When they are presented with the evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted.

It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance.

And because it it so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn't fit in with the core belief."

Folks, many of religious Christians are holding on some type of core beliefs from their denominational churches and when they are confronted with the truth of God's word they would tell me things like:

1). What doctrine is this?

2). You need deliverance

3). You are crazy bro

4). You read the Bible upside down bro

5). You need a Spirit bro

6). You need revelation bro

7). You need spiritual understanding bro,

. You chopping away the Bible

Examples of some of the beliefs which many of Christians in the denominational churches hold on to are:

1). Water baptism

2). Tithing

3). Supernatural gifts or miracles

4). Fasting

5). Tongues talking

6). Existence of true prophets & apostles,

When you preach the gospel of the Grace of God unto a religious Christian who hath been tithing for half a century and you confront them with God's truths rightly divided that tithing is not for Christians but for the Jews: they will kill you.

When you share the gospel of the Grace of God with a religious Christian who is fellowshiping under Joyce Meyer and you confront them with the truth God's word that says "a woman shouldn't teach on a pulpit": they will kill you.

1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

When you share the wonderful truth of the Grace of God to a die-hard religious Christian dude with "Papa" and "Mama" at that denominational prophetic church and start to show them that there are no true prophets of God: they will kill you.

When I share the gospel of the Grace of to Christian folks who believe that supernatural gifts still exist: tongues, laying on of hands to heal or impartation, prophecy, teaching, ministry, (see 1 Cor), and tell them those gifts have ceased oparating before apostle Paul died: these guys kill.

Folks, the reason why I am always going through persecution is because people are holding on these core beliefs and then cognitive dissonance kicks in.

If you haven't experienced this too then you are compromising the gospel of the Grace of God.

Muslims kill people of other religions because of cognitive dissonance.

Relationship killings occur because of cognitive dissonance.

Jews killed their King-Messiah because of cognitive dissonance.

Jews killed the 12 apostles of Christ because due to cognitive dissonance.

Jews walked about to kill apostle Paul because of cognitive dissonance.

Christians are now using absurd words to me because of cognitive dissonance.

Folks, let's learn the Bible so that it becomes our final authority.

My dear lovely friends, I don't care about your core beliefs which you are holding on now, my duty is to preach unto this gift of God which was free given to all mankind without anyone doing anything to deserve it. This is the Gift of the Grace of God: which is eternal life through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast

PENTECOSTALISM ERRORS vs PAUL'S SOUND DOCTRINE

By LeighAnn Mycko

1. CULTIC ORIGINS & INFLUENCES - The Word of Faith Movement owes much of its teachings to E.W. Kenyon who was heavily influenced by Mind Science and New Thought Christianity (what became known as Unity School) in the early 1900's. Based on biblical teachings, Mind Science is essentially magic, which the Old Testament calls "enchantments," and what apostle Paul in the New Testament calls "doctrines of devils". The KJV Bible is very clear that God does not approve of any kind of magic working or mind over matter techniques (2Ki 17:17; 2Ki 21:6; 2Ch 33:6; Jer 27:9-10 KJV). We are to walk by FAITH, not by sight (2Co 5:7 KJV). In addition, "New Thought" is a blending of "Christianity" and the occult!

2. OVERSIMPLIFICATION - Quick and easy solutions to life's problems are offered to the believer. There are various "KEYS" or "STEPS" to healing, wealth, financial prosperity, victory in life, etc. Whereas, our only God-given apostle, Paul, so plainly commands us ... "And be not conformed to this world:" (Ro 12:2a KJV) ... Also, although Paul prayed three times for healing, God did NOT heal him, but instead Jesus said to Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2Co 12:9 KJV). Paul's miracle healing ministry had an end to it, and it is not intended for us today during this dispensation of GRACE.

3. ABUSE OF THE BIBLE - A consistent misuse of the Scriptures due to ignorance of rightly dividing the word of truth (KJV). Failing to make church doctrine to the Body of Christ, Paul's doctrine (Romans thru Philemon KJV), the foundation of their beliefs which leads to their wrong conclusions, false practices and teachings that are completely contrary to what our masterbuilder apostle Paul teaches us in Romans thru Philemon KJV. Watch this video/sermon: Why The Church Didn't Begin At Pentecost! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Vfnv6c5fg8

4. FALSE TEACHINGS - WOF teachers promote a wide variety of false teachings regarding Healing, Health, Prosperity, Demons, Salvation and the Atonement. None of which are grounded in Paul's sound doctrine TO the Body of Christ: Romans thru Philemon KJV.

5. SPIRITUAL PRIDE - Leaders of the WOF REFUSE to dialog with other members of the Body of Christ regarding their teaching. They claim their teachings come by direct revelation knowledge from God and are not subject to human scrutiny. When we KNOW, from Paul's epistles (Romans thru Philemon KJV) that God is NOT giving out any new revelation today (Col 1:25; 1Th 2:12-13 KJV). God has given us His COMPLETE REVELATION, with nothing hidden, in His PERFECT WRITTEN WORD, preserved perfectly in the Holy Bible Authorized King James Version(KJV). Plus, GOD ONLY ADDRESSES Gentiles directly THROUGH THE WRITINGS OF APOSTLE PAUL, which are the only church doctrine today as preserved in Romans thru Philemon KJV. Read this: What is the “that which is perfect” in 1 Corinthians 13:10? - https://goo.gl/tq72Sk .

6. WORLDLY/HUMANISTIC THEOLOGY- WOF presents a distorted vision of God and the Christian life. God is the supplier of financial prosperity, health, and victory when the believer uses their faith. WOF holds the concept that God's children should "eat the best, drive the best, and wear the best." Little emphasis on the spiritual benefits and growth that results from suffering as our apostle Paul taught. (Ro 5:3-5; Ro 8:17-18; 2Co 1:5-7 KJV) ... And, we don't have victory as we use our faith, but HAVE VICTORY permanently forever the moment we BELIEVE Paul's gospel (1Co 15:57 KJV)! What is Paul's gospel? BELIEVE 1Cor 15:1-4, plus nothing. Without doing any works, BELIEVE that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day ... that's the only gospel that places us into the Body of Christ TODAY.

7. EXPERIENTIALISM - There is a strong emphasis on feeling and emotionalism versus the use of the mind and intellect. Intuitive guidance from the "hidden man of the heart" versus dispensational Bible study and being grounded in the knowledge of sound doctrine (Romans thru Philemon KJV). Paul teaches us that it is through the process of STUDYING & BELIEVING Paul's doctrine that the Holy Spirit, who is the Author of the KJV Bible, can then work through us believers (1Th 2:12-13 KJV). Our grace faith should rest on God's words to us (Romans thru Philemon KJV), and NOT on how we feel, NOT on how emotionally charged we get from an experience. The KJV Bible, rightly divided, is our absolute authority; not the traditions of men! God's word is truth (KJV).

8. HEDONISM - Stress is on man-centered happiness versus God-centered holiness. They strive for heaven-on-earth now. This is evident in their teaching regarding money and possessions. All of the leading WOF teachers are millionaires or multimillionaires. Of course, this is absolutely contrary to the message God gives to us through Paul. Apostle Paul wrote ... "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment [ i.e. clothing ] let us be therewith content." (1Ti 6:68 KJV) ... We as members of the Body of Christ, are a HEAVENLY people and are NOT promised any earthly blessings nor good health while living on earth, according to OUR only church doctrine, Paul's epistles.

9. EXCLUSIVISM - Those who do not subscribe to their beliefs are "carnally-minded." They see themselves as "God's Remnant" and/or His "overcomers." But, our apostle Paul is very clear about the fact that those who don't follow Paul's teachings/doctrine have fallen from grace and are enemies of the Cross of Christ! (Galatians; 1Co 14:37b; 2Ti 3:10a; 1Ti 1:3b; Php 3:17-20 KJV) ... The irony is that it is they who Paul calls "carnally-minded" because of their focus on earthly things, instead of obeying God's COMMAND to follow and STUDY Paul's teachings/doctrine. (Ro 16:17; 1Ti 1:3b; Ga 1:8-9 KJV)

10. POWER RELIGION - The majority of their teachings and conferences center around "power" and the "anointing." There is a stress on teaching the authority of the believer over Satan and demons. Angels are our servants and we are to command them. Consider reading this: IS THERE “HEALING IN THE ATONEMENT?” - https://goo.gl/yRtMld .

11. LACK OF BALANCE - Teachings stress FAITH, HEALTH, WEALTH, GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, DELIVERANCE, SUPERNATURAL POWER, VICTORY. Only a small amount of Bible study is taught, with no admitance that Paul is our only God-appointed apostle, no teaching about rightly dividing the word of truth, and no real grounding in Paul's SOUND DOCTRINE. Just because Jesus Christ performed healing miracles in the past does not mean that He is still doing this today. During His EARTHLY ministry, Jesus Christ and His apostles performed healing miracles in order to teach Israel doctrine. Today in the Dispensation of Grace, rather than temporary physical healing, as God promised Israel, the Lord promises us, the Body of Christ, everlasting spiritual healing.

CONCLUSION:

If in the assembly, the KJV Bible is not emphasized enough, and rightly dividing the word of truth is not taught, and Paul's doctrine not followed, it is highly LIKELY that whatever is occurring will degenerate into heresy.

Ga 4:16 KJV: "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" ~our apostle Paul

WORD OF FAITH PROSPERITY TEACHERS ALWAYS TAKE THIS VERSE OUT OF CONTEXT!

By Jack H. Kirkland

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

3 John 1:2 (KJV)

Word of Faith charlatans use this scripture to "prove" that God wants all believers in Jesus to be rich (especially them).

Try explaining that to all those being executed in third world countries for their commitment to Christ.

However, the word "prosper" as used here literally means, "to have a good journey, to be led along a good road." It is like us telling a friend, "I pray that you will have all your needs met both spiritual and physical, but above all that you will continually grow in the Lord as you walk the highway of holiness."

DON'T BELIEVE THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL LIE

By LeighAnn Mycko

Obedience to God's words to us today, in this present evil world, DOESN'T bring physical or material blessings to the believer IN Christ.

In fact, obedience to Paul's sound doctrine (Romans thru Philemon KJV) causes suffering for the believer IN Christ.

Paul Writes...

2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV): "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution."

However, today, as a believer IN Christ, during this present dispensation of God's grace, we believers are blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY places!

Paul Writes...

Ephesians 1:3 (KJV): "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY places IN Christ:"

No where in Paul's Epistles are we, the members of the Body of Christ, promised any physical or material blessings today during this dispensation of Grace!

God is NOT rearranging our situations and circumstances today!

God is NOT performing any physical healing miracles today!

God is NOT rewarding any one with wealth and good health today!

God is doing something completely different with the members of the Body of Christ TODAY from what he did in Time Past with ISRAEL.

God is communicating with believers and working in and through believers ONE WAY today, and that's THROUGH his written words to us that BELIEVE.

And God's words "to us" today are found in Romans through Philemon KJV.

Learning these DIFFERENCES between how God is really working TODAY, can totally revolutionize the way you think, operate, and pray.

This vital truth that God needs & wants you to understand today, removes the guilt and shame and confusion that keeps you from serving him the way he would have you to serve him IN Christ.

Paul's SOUND DOCTRINE is what opens our eyes to God's AMAZING GRACE!

Without having this knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of God that Christ revealed exclusively to PAUL, the believer IN Christ is still blind to just HOW AMAZING God's gift of GRACE really is!

And, their Christian life CANNOT function the way God intends it to, because their life will be filled with uncertainty and confusion and deception.

Dear Christian,

Learn Paul's doctrine, not only for your own peace of mind, but do it because its the will and working of God TODAY for your life!

There's much work to do!

God needs ALL of us believers IN Christ to grow up, put our pride, ignorance, and distractions aside, and dig into Paul's SOUND DOCTRINE and learn it!

You're in spiritual warfare, whether you want to be or not, and whether you realize it or not.

If you continue walking blind and ignorant of the will and working of God today during this dispensation of Grace, it will not only make you susceptible to satanic attacks NOW, but it will also someday wreck your position in the HEAVENLY places at the judgement seat of Christ.

God has been very generous and merciful by only giving us the Body of Christ 13 books to study, know, and understand.

The least we could do is learn it so we CAN serve God his way!

Paul Writes ...

Romans 6:14 (KJV): "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV): "For we walk by faith, not by sight:"

2 Timothy 2:7 (KJV): "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things."

2 Timothy 2:15-16 (KJV): "STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth.

16 But SHUN profane and vain babblings: for they WILL increase unto more ungodliness."

2 Timothy 4:1-4 (KJV): "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and DOCTRINE.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
