It is not surprising in this apostate generation in which we live that people refuse to listen to the truth. 2nd Timothy 4:3 warns: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." Joel Osteen is a professional ear-tickler, who is nothing more than a motivational speaker who exploits the name of Jesus to make tens-of-millions of dollars. Phooey on credit card Christianity. Osteen speaks of health, wealth and prosperity without requiring people to get right with God. You can't expect God's blessing if you're living in unrepentant sin. Why doesn't Mr. Osteen preach against abortion, homosexuality and the immorality of Hollywood? God deliver us from sissified, pretty-boy, girlish type preachers. Where are the Billy Sundays?
