government Workers of INIQUITY
-
Who are the government workers?
Government workers are public servants ie: government officials and employees. A public servant is someone who holds a government position (either by election or appointment). A government employee is a worker who is hired to perform a job.
Government workers consist of personnel in every level of government such as federal, state or provincial and municipal or local governments including; Public Servants, Public Officials, Public Officers, Peace Officers, Postal Workers, Health Care Workers, Teachers, School Board Members, Civil Servants, Elected Officials, Government Workers, Delegates, Representatives, Administrators, Agents, Commissioners, Managers, Directors, Secretaries, Governors, Mayors, Senators, Premiers, Members of Parliament, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Magistrates, Legislators, Treasurers, Politicians, Bureaucrats, Members of Congress, Lawmakers, Council Members, Deputies, etc.
Government workers and personnel are expected to provide service to the public in a manner that is courteous, professional, equitable, efficient, and effective. Employees are required to be sensitive and responsive to the changing needs, expectations, and rights of a diverse public in the proper performance of their duties.
Transparency is the rule in any democracy. Public servants work for government and for citizens. Public servants must be accountable to the public. They are public servants, not private servants. They should be accountable to ‘we the people’, especially when we the people are paying their salary to have them serve us — and then paying even more when a public servant needs to be investigated for mismanagement or misconduct.
-
Accountability of Public Servants – Important Points
In all democratic countries, civil servants are accountable both to the political executive and to citizens for ensuring responsive, transparent and honest policy implementation and service delivery. But ensuring accountability for performance is not a simple task in government service; there are immense complexities involved in making public officials answerable for outputs and outcomes.
-
Setting performance targets and their measurement is easier in respect of service delivery agencies particularly when the service provided is tangible and thus an easily measured unit but for many public organizations where the output is policy related and therefore, not very concrete, assessment of performance becomes much more complicated.
-
The diffusion of responsibility and authority across different levels in Government and the lack of linkage between authority and accountability also lead to a system where plausible alibis for non-performance abound, particularly for activities that cut across departmental dividing lines or across different functional divisions within departments.
-
The accountability mechanisms in any country are broadly categorized as those that are located within the State and those outside.
-
Accountability of the executive arm of government to Parliament and to the citizens of the country is of course the fundamental feature of a democracy.
At least this aspect of governance is transparent (as it should be, if not truly democratic). Other aspects are much less crystal clear, such as the results of investigations that are initiated as a result of public servant transgressions.
-
What is accountability in civil service?
Holders of public office are accountable for their decisions and actions to the public and must submit themselves to whatever scrutiny is appropriate to their office. It helps achievement of ethical standard in the governance system.
-
How are civil servants held accountable?
Officials are accountable to Ministers. They may assist Ministers by answering directly before Parliamentary committees; but there should be no doubt that Ministers, and not officials, are constitutionally responsible for the exercise of the power of the state.
Government personnel are accountable before mankind!
"He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly;
he that despiseth the gain of oppressions,
that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,
that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood,
and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
he shall dwell on high:"
Government personnel are accountable before God!
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
God watches every government worker!
"The eyes of the LORD are in every place,
beholding the evil and the good."

Tyrants are Workers of Iniquity!
Tyrants (autocrats, dictators, authoritarians, totalitarians, oppressors) include anyone in an authoritative or superior position, who misuses their authority or superiority in an unjust manner, and/or uses their power oppressively and maliciously. This includes every employee or elected official, in all levels of government. From the city worker to the heads of departments, “antichristian” (1 John 2:22) public servants enable dishonesty (1 John 5:19).
Secular governments do not seek God’s wisdom (James 1:5), nor are they obedient to His commands (James 1:22). God calls them deceivers, antichrist, workers of iniquity. "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." (2 John 7 (AKJB). "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity." (Psalm 5:4-5 (AKJB).
