Cindy Jacobs is hosting the event she describes below:

“I am so excited to invite you to Deborahs United 2023, July 13th-15th at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, TX! Our theme this year is Mama Bears Arising. The title comes from a Holy Spirit encounter that I had with the Lord while in Pasadena, California. My friend, Lou Engle, was speaking about how God is using women around the world. As he was sharing, I kept thinking, ‘Today is April 14th. What is the significance of that date?’ Lou’s wife, Therese, told me, ‘Cindy, it is Esther 4:14! Esther was called for such a time as this!’”

“Then the Lord said to me, ‘It’s time for the Mama Bears to arise and fight for the children and our nations.’ As we look around us there are evident signs of the family being destroyed and the biblical values of our nations deteriorating. We must take a stand!”

“Would you join us this year and bring your Mama Bear teams? You will leave refreshed and charged up to see our children protected and nations rescued! And you will have personal victory as well. We will have a special time together to worship, learn from the top women leaders, receive impartations, mantles, pray for healing, and plenty of prophetic ministry!”

Here are a few points from the information above…

Apparently when an NAR leader has an idea pop in his or her head, if he or she claims it originated from a “Holy Spirit encounter” then, sadly, deceived followers will believe it’s from the Lord.

Cindy Jacobs considers Lou Engle a friend. But, here is just one example of the false ideas Engle promotes, as discussed in this post (https://tinyurl.com/rzzj48wd):

Engle claims to have received a dream where he asked Bill Johnson where he could catch fish along the Sacramento River. This led Engle to call Bill and ask if he could come by to “have communion” with him and Beni, who everyone knew was close to death from her battle with cancer. When he got there, he informed them he did not come there primarily to pray for healing for Beni. Sadly, as we read the following, we discover his macabre motivation. Engle claims he said to the dying woman:

“If you pass, I want you to lay your hands upon me, that I would carry your legacy."

He continues with the explanation: "She’s been doing communion every day for years. (unintelligible) the river of the sacrament. It’s the river of the sacrament! It’s the revival of the blood where the center will not be a pulpit! It will not be a missions move or evangelism. It will be all (unintelligible)…and the blood will break the accuser of the brethren! It will loose such a sound of revival and awakening as what I’m hearing today. She laid her hands upon me. I said, “'If you’ll allow me Lord, I will take Beni Johnson’s legacy, and I will carry the communion revival that I believe she’s been leading for years.'”

Jacobs attempts to make a correlation between April 14 (4-14) and Esther 4:14 where Mordecai indicates that “Esther was called for such a time as this.”

​

But, as I have stated before, according to this link (https://tinyurl.com/r9zmfn7d) “when the books of the Bible were originally written there were no such things as chapters or verses. Each book was written without any breaks from the beginning to the end. The divisions into chapters and verses are man-made. They are sometimes arbitrary, and they sometimes interfere with the sense of the passage.” And, to add, they were not inspired by the Holy Spirit as was the original text.

In the clip playing with this post, Jacobs says, “We are going to be having a theme of ‘Mama Bears Arising’" and then immediately says, "Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom, say it with me, for such a time as this?” So, we realize she is addressing the women in the audience, not referring to Esther. Jacobs also states, “It’s the ‘Esther call’ to a generation!”

However, the genre of the Book of Esther is historical narrative. The events of this book took place during the Persian period of ancient Near Eastern history (539-331 B.C.) and during the reign of King Ahasuerus in particular (486-464 B.C.).

​

There are no “go forth and do likewise” instructions in Esther. It is a descriptive text; not a prescriptive one.

​

Jacobs says the Lord said, “It’s time for the Mama Bears to arise and fight.” But, this would contradict John 18:36 that states: “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight.”

​

Jacobs says “there are evident signs of the family being destroyed” as if this is something unexpected. But, 2 Tim 3:1 and 13 say, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” And, verse 2 of this chapter specifically mentions disobedience to parents.
