UnBiblical Prophecies and Heretical Babblings of BARRY COOK

Intro

Blessed by being able to preach the Gospel, Plant Churches, and Build & Train Leaders for Over 30yrs

Barry Cook is an apostolic leader known for his prophetic ministry and innovative leadership concepts.

His 25 plus years of ministry have included international speaking and travel, as well as planting three churches, a bible college, ministerial association, and a community outreach program that served up to 20,000 people a year. Additionally, Barry has published five books, including his newest book,

Mission Minded Leaders, and earned a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership and Church Growth.

His ministry also included a television program, "Fresh Fire" which ran for

14 years from border to border. His newest television project, "God's Garage" includes episodes on a variety of leadership and personal growth topics assisting thousands across the globe.

Barry continues to work with pastors, churches and ministries in over 40 US states through his non-profit organization and The Leader's Edge Training Seminars  to further the work of The Kingdom.

The world adjust their message to what people want to hear. The Church sticks with the message and mission!

Otherwise, it's just a never-ending cycle of following the crowd... and not the cloud!

“Embrace the relentless new breed within, for it is the unstoppable force that propels us forward, challenging the boundaries of what was and what can be, igniting the flames of innovation and change." - Barry Cook, D. Min.

Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV): "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

This scripture encourages us to continuously strive forward, letting go of the past and pursuing our goals with determination and focus, much like the relentless new breed mentioned in the quote!

The Double-Edged Sword of Sincere Affirmation!

"Sincere, creative affirmation is the glue that sticks relationships together." A quote that has shown up in many different counseling platforms for years. Quick post about this maxim.

This quote highlights the importance of genuine appreciation and validation in maintaining strong relationships.

Yet, as someone who has lived life myself and learned, as well as working with people for over 20 yrs, it's essential to look at both sides of this quote and explore the potential downsides of leaning too heavily on affirmation.

While sincere affirmation can certainly promote healthy communication and emotional connection, it is crucial not to overlook the importance of “constructive” criticism and candid conversations, and feedback loops.

Relying solely on affirmation often leads to complacency or an unwillingness to address issues that can fester and damage a person or a relationship in the long run.

Moreover, the constant need for affirmation may foster dependency, as individuals seek external validation to feel secure and valued.

True confidence and self-esteem should come from within, rather than being contingent on the approval of others. If you’re stuck get some good, legit counsel. Change your routines.

It's important to strike a balance between sincere affirmation and open, honest communication.

In doing so, individuals can foster relationships that are not only supportive but also resilient, with a foundation built on trust and mutual growth.

As the Bible says in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

This scripture reminds us that relationships should encourage personal growth and improvement, which sometimes necessitates the courage to address challenges and offer constructive criticism alongside affirmation.

Remember affirmation is never one-sided or it is usually manipulation on some level. As two different scripture says beauty and flattery… can be deceptive.

Back to the beginning: "Sincere, creative affirmation is the glue that sticks relationships together."

"Leadership is not just about being in charge, it's more about taking care of those in your charge.

Great leaders inspire and empower, fostering an environment where individuals thrive and teams succeed.

It takes tools and skill sets, as well as an anointing to turn a vision, or idea that is actually carried by a group of others as a Mission."

Remember your WHY!

- Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."

Unconditionally loving someone DOESN'T mean you unconditionally approve of everything they do. Unhealed and overly Religious people both have a tendency to love you, only if you're performing to their standard, preference, or bias.

God (and you) can love people without approving of all they do. Even the truth should be spoken... in love! (Eph. 4:15)

"Though we cannot think alike, there is no reason that we may not love alike." - John Wesley

Learning and growing involves making mistakes. But If you keep making the same mistake you aren't learning or growing.

ASK, LISTEN, APPLY, GROW!

At times, when the Lord reveals our future, we may lack the faith to let go of our present.

Even when our current situation, a blend of comfort and skepticism, holds us back, we still choose the familiarity of the known over the uncertainty of change and fresh starts.

Occasionally, God uses discomfort as a catalyst to propel us toward our destined path and the land of promise! #teamjesusabc #missionmindedleaders

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).

God hears you on levels you aren't even willing to admit out loud. The Lord is preparing to send someone your way to assist you in your journey.

You won't have to fear this time or be hesitant. You will understand how to assist and support them.

And this person will nurture and protect the blessings you carry, ensuring that they flourish without harm. There will be mutual respect and both will treat the gifts you bear with the utmost love and attention.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10: "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up."

In this season, it is crucial for us to maintain adaptability. We must not let our plans and ambitions become so inflexible that we fail to recognize God's actions.

Many will be called upon to venture into unexpected territories, forge connections with unfamiliar individuals, and accomplish tasks they never envisioned.

God is guiding His people in this time! This guidance is divinely orchestrated, but it requires us to be ADAPTABLE.

Those who are led by the Spirit can adjust under His influence. They can revise their plans and act promptly when God instructs them to move.

Refrain from becoming entrenched in your own beliefs and viewpoints. Flow with God's guidance!

Isaiah 64:8 - But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and we all are the work of Your hand.

The real deal with your anointing isn’t about the likes, claps, and hype you get, but how you crush those heavy loads and set people free. Stir up the gift!

Keep in mind what's written in Isaiah 10:27, "When that day comes, the weight on your shoulders and the yoke on your neck will be gone; it's gonna be shattered 'cause of the anointing."

A new place is before us, it contains abundant untapped potential with some uncharted paths. We are being presented with fresh opportunities, nascent (budding, emerging) relationships, and burgeoning (expanding) connections.

Our strength is revitalized, as we receive renewed grace, divine strategies, and profound wisdom, and execute divinely remarkable outcomes. Let’s welcome a season of abundant fulfillment!

It is time to step into the vast, immeasurable, and boundless sphere of God's might with cooperation, aligning ourselves with our heart's purposes and expanding the Kingdom of God in an epic and inspired manner. Brace yourselves, for God is poised to perform astonishing feats in our lives!

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." - Ephesians 3:20

Don't let negative toxic people rent space in your mind. Raise the rent and kick them out.

Today is a new day. God is turning things around for you. He will give you beauty for ashes, joy for mourning. "Who" you connect with is actually more important than "where" you're going.

When you have the wrong people in your boat, they will actually hold you back rather than help you move forward.

When you have the right people, things move forward, ideas are fresh, vision is clear, friendships are solid, and trust and peace are strong!

"One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." - (Prov. 18:24)

"Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." - (Prov. 13:20)

"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." - (Ecc.4:9,10)

What constitutes success in ministry? Success lies in fulfilling the will of the Father, not in conforming to the desires of men. When you follow the Lord's guidance throughout your journey, you bring pleasure to Him.

Your path may lead you to a remote desert or a barren wilderness.

You might be ministering to a small gathering of followers or leading a larger congregation.

Your journey could involve transitioning from one occupation to another, or it may be centered on nurturing your family and tending to your marital bond.

Remember, God has a unique plan for each individual. Refrain from comparing yourself to others and allowing insecurity to govern you when others fail to comprehend or undermine your journey.

Ultimately, it is the Lord to whom you will answer. Endeavor to make your life meaningful and embrace the position He has assigned you. May you all be blessed!

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - (Eph. 2:10)

Not only is the Lord setting us free from all the areas where the enemy has held us back, but He is also giving us the power to help others escape from the very things we were once trapped in. Now That's true payback!

That's divine justice, every time you pray for someone, it's you getting even. It's you collecting payback for what the enemy did to you.

When you bless another family, it's payback for whatever the enemy did against your loved ones.

When you help others find freedom in their household, it's payback for what the enemy ever did against your home.

When you pray for the sick, it's payback for those times when the enemy tested your body with affliction.

Be more concerned about God not being with you than everybody liking you!

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord" (Romans 12:19, NIV).

I don't care what anybody said, you are coming out, stronger, wiser, better than you were before!

You have been pressed down, shaken together and NOW you are about to run over... with the love and favor of God!

Look behind you real quick…

Look who's following me: Goodness and Mercy! #hearhisvoice

(My old school preach wants to say... turn to 3 people and ask them... what is following you?)

True leadership is the harmonious dance of humility and confidence, listening and speaking, empowering others, and asserting oneself. It is in embracing these opposing traits that one truly becomes a beacon of guidance.

In the same vein, Proverbs 11:2 (NIV) reminds us, "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."

Proverbs 11:14 (NIV) states, "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many wise advisers.

Success To The Kingdom and Success To You! (Mth.6:33)

God will always give you another chance: the choice is yours to take it!!

God says “I determined, purposed, decreed, decided you… You belong to me! I made a decision about you!”

I declare victory after victory after victory for you in the name of Jesus!

Your path is shifting in your favor.

"Lord, let that cycle of pain, defeat and set back come to an end in the life of those who believe. This day send fresh vision, motivation, and faith, in Jesus name!

If you don’t step forward you will always remain in the same place!

Just to keep some balance from all the leaders posting the "you better honor me or you won't be blessed" post. We should honor those who labor in the doctrine of Christ and serve others' needs because of their commitment to Christ and His body. And it's true you may not receive certain things from those you don't honor properly.

However, the leader (or the most mature) should be setting the pace for honor. If they really are a leader then they will lead in honor also.

Aside from that NOT being the "only" condition for your blessings. (plenty of other text) Basically saying you keep your heart right... because God is just... He will use other ways to bless you.

When dealing with other believers, regardless of their rank, title, or position, honor is never one-sided. It goes both ways or it is un-just scales!

For you mean folks reading this... this is not an excuse to dis-honor leaders or others either!

People will mock what they don’t understand. Don’t let that stop you from moving in what God says.

"Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving *preference to one another." - (Rom.12:10)

*G4285 προηγέομαι; proēgeomai; Definition: "to go before and show the way, to go before and lead, to go before as a leader."

A good pastor is a beacon of light, guiding, nurturing, discipling, aiding in healing, and building strength in everyone they encounter, particularly those entrusted to their care, as they exemplify the love and mission of Christ in action.

'Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.' - 1 Thessalonians 5:11"

Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve.' - 1 Peter 5:2"

As you entrust your life to God, you may not comprehend every challenge you face. Satan may attempt to interfere, and you could make misguided choices. Unkind individuals may impose their viewpoints about you and whatever you attempt.

Yet, in all circumstances and struggles, God is aware and orchestrating everything for your benefit. What the enemy intended for your ruin, God will utilize to fortify, liberate, and elevate you.

You might even gain new companions. The magnitude of God's presence and power in our lives surpasses any description we can offer. God will never abandon you, so never give up! My heartfelt love and prayers are with you!

Romans 8:28 (NIV): "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Effective leaders communicate in diverse styles, adapting to each team member's unique strengths and preferences without babying them.

Yet, never losing sight of their shared mission or compromising the integrity of the team culture. A healthy team is built on the foundation of mutual understanding, respect, and a unified vision.

Authentic leadership lies in embracing the symphony of communication, harmonizing the team towards a collective masterpiece without losing a single note.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

Learn to bounce back. If you are going to persevere and receive the promises of God over your life, you will need to develop a hardy personality.

This type of personality is tender, resilient, strong, alive, and doesn’t wither in the heat of the sun.

This kind of person realizes that disappointments and defeats are temporary in the light of eternity. (Psalm 92:4)

You are a bounce-back person!

Though you were knocked down and run over... you have resurrection power in you through Christ to bounce back!

Maybe somebody will understand...

Kingdom Apostolic Churches are very sensitive to the spiritual climates around them.

Not only do they recognize and discern current spiritual climates, but apostolic churches also set up and maintain new climates that fit within the realm of the Kingdom.

They refuse to live beneath brazen heavens, pushing past every barrier with high joy, bold faith, clear vision, intense praise, strong prayer, and fervent love for the brethren. (Acts 4:29-31

Apostles: Pioneers of Faith. As apostles are appointed FIRST (Proton: A positive charge) in the Church by God (1 Corinthians 12:28), they carry a PIONEERING anointing.

A pioneer is characterized as one of the first settlers in a new territory. To pioneer signifies opening and preparing the way for others to follow.

Apostles possess the anointing to break into new regions of revelation, ministry, or geography, embodying the role of PATHFINDERS and TRAILBLAZERS.

(Heb. 12:1-2).

Without these pioneers, the Church would become stagnant, lacking growth and expansion into new territories.

Pioneers keep us moving forward, maintaining our position at the "cutting edge" and setting the course for a prosperous future (Proverbs 29:18).

Others are inspired and blessed by the courage, vision, and strength of these PIONEERS. They venture into "new areas" because pioneers pave the way (Joshua 1:9).

Apostles, as pioneers proclaim new truths, plant new churches, establish new believers, and penetrate new territories with the gospel (Acts 1:8).

Pioneers are never content with merely "settling down" - they strive to advance until all the land is claimed for God's Kingdom (Matthew 28:19-20).

One of the most important things I have come to understand is the importance of kingdom alignments.

As believers, it's essential to ensure that our lives are aligned with the kingdom of God and the plans He has for us.

This alignment is not only vital for our spiritual growth but also for our success in life.

* Matthew 6:33 - "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

* Colossians 1:16 - "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."

The Importance of Kingdom Alignments:

1. Helps us to stay focused on God's plan for our lives - Proverbs 3:6 states that if we acknowledge God in all our ways, He will direct our paths.

Aligning ourselves with the kingdom of God helps us stay focused on His plan and purpose for our lives!

2. Leads to blessings and success - When we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, He promises to provide for all our needs (Matthew 6:33).

This includes success and blessings in all areas of our lives!

3. Protects us from wrong influences - In 1 Corinthians 15:33, Paul warns that bad company corrupts good character.

Aligning ourselves with the kingdom of God protects us from being influenced by wrong people and ideas!

4. Helps us to be effective witnesses - As ambassadors of Christ, our lives should reflect the kingdom we represent.

Aligning ourselves with the kingdom of God helps us to be effective witnesses to those around us! (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Closing scripture:

Psalm 37:4 - "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
