Benny Hinn Miracle Conference
According to this link (https://tinyurl.com/32m2uftz), and the photo below, Benny Hinn and the others shown, are conducting the “USA Miracle Conference 2023” from June 28-July 2.
Most are familiar with the issues concerning Benny Hinn, but for anyone unaware, here are some important reasons for avoiding him:
1) At this link (http://www.letusreason.org/pent33.htm) we read: Benny Hinn describes an experience before he was a Christian at 11 years old, "suddenly my little body was caught up in an incredible sensation that can only be described as "electric." It felt as if someone had plugged me into a wired socket. There was a numbness that felt like needles-a million of them- rushing through my body. "(Good morning Holy Spirit, Jan. 1990, p. 22). In what appears to be the same story, "My body became electric just like electricity went through me and when I awoke that electricity was still on my body." (Benny Hinn, This Is Your Day, June 11, 1997). This is the same experience before he was "saved" as afterward, which should make anyone with an ounce of discernment stop and reconsider what is actually happening.
2) According to this link (https://wrldrels.org/2016/10/08/benny-hinn-ministries/)* Benny Hinn attended a healing service conducted by Kathryn Kuhlman in December of 1973. “He would eventually author a book titled, ‘Kathryn Kuhlman: Her Spiritual Legacy and Its Impact on my Life,’ displaying an inspiration also apparent in his adoption of techniques used in her services, such as her practice of ‘slaying in the Spirit’ and her use of ‘word of knowledge,’ both of which Hinn uses extensively. Hinn has stated that Kuhlman has ‘APPEARED TO HIM FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE TO GIVE HIM ENCOURAGEMENT AND MINISTERIAL DIRECTION,’ although he never met her in person, and those familiar with the services of the two healers have noted a similarity in their manners of speaking, stage presence, and even choice of wardrobe.” (Emphasis mine) *Note: use of this link is for informational purposes only.
3) In this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIzX-psjKzs) Hinn states he felt a “terrific anointing” when he visited Aimee Semple McPherson’s grave.
4) As discussed in this post (https://tinyurl.com/yj99ju77) Benny Hinn Ministries charged guests from $150 to $5000 to attend Hinn’s 70th birthday party held on Dec. 3, 2022, at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, TX.
5) And, then, in this video (https://tinyurl.com/yu2ar2jd) Hinn is teaching that “the anointing” causes pastors to commit adultery, an idea he got from Oral Roberts.
This is just a handful of aberrancies concerning Benny Hinn. I pray people will avoid him and the "USA Miracle Conference 2023."
